Pain that has not gone away
Most pain settles on its own. Some does not.
If you have had shoulder, elbow, hip, knee or heel pain for more than three months, and rest, physiotherapy or anti-inflammatories have not fixed it, it is worth finding out exactly what is going on.
Conditions seen here
- Shoulder pain and rotator cuff problems, including calcium deposits in the tendon
- Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow
- Hip and outer thigh pain
- Knee pain at the front, below the kneecap
- Pain at the sitting bone, at the top of the hamstring
- Achilles pain at the back of the ankle
- Heel pain and plantar fasciitis
What we do about it
After the assessment, the options are explained. Depending on what is found, that may mean changing what you are doing, a referral to physiotherapy, medication, an injection, a referral to a specialist, or treatment in this clinic.
Which one is recommended depends entirely on the diagnosis.
Fees
Assessment with the physician and treatment sessions are charged at the fees published on the fees page. Payment is taken at each visit.
