The following services are not insured under the Medical Services Plan. Fees are provided at consultation.
Shockwave therapy
Shockwave therapy uses acoustic pressure waves, generated by a handpiece and directed through the skin into the tissue beneath.
Nothing is injected and nothing is cut; a session takes fifteen to twenty minutes and you return to normal activity immediately.

An extended, unhurried appointment with a full history, complete physical examination, a review of screening and of every medication you take.
It is provided at your request and paid for privately; anything found that requires medical assessment is insured care and billed to MSP.

Where care has become spread across several clinicians, hospitals and investigations, a single review brings it back into one place.
It includes collection of records, a consolidated medication review and a written summary you can keep and share.

Cryotherapy freezes a small skin lesion with liquid nitrogen, taking a few seconds per lesion.
Where a benign lesion is treated at your request for cosmetic reasons, MSP does not provide coverage and the treatment is paid for privately.

For patients and visits not covered by the Medical Services Plan, appointments are available in office, by telephone, or at home.

An optional annual fee covering standard forms, letters and notes, copies of records, and cosmetic cryotherapy for a set number of lesions per year.
Every item is also available individually, and a written list of what the fee covers is provided before payment.
